We were delighted to welcome 120 plus guests to our Oxford conference and dinner. ARP Chair Alison Van Dalen opened the day by giving delegates an update on the legal changes that our industry faces in the light of increased regulation for property services. All members who assist clients to purchase (or sell) property must now be registered with the Property Ombudsman and the Office of Fair Trading Anti Money Laundering Register.

Amanda Bartlett, Bristol based and founder of AB Relocate inherited not just the ‘AB’ initials (good for Yellow Pages) but also the reconnaissance gene from her father (a spitfire ace) that trained her in the understanding of frequent overseas postings. Later embassy stints in North America and Turkey and helping staff when PA to managing directors of Revlon (Paris) and McDermott (Dubai) completed her grounding in moving people and homes.
