The ARP Council have been discussing new and innovative ways of delivering our training programme. Over the past few years we have concentrated on delivering highly topical and practical legal sessions, leading to the annual Certificate in Tenancy Law for Relocation Professionals (CTLRP). We will continue to deliver this programme in exactly the same way, but we also want to make more topics accessible to members.

Well if you’re reading this I guess not – despite the cataclysmic forecasts by some of the likely consequences of ‘firing up’ the underground ‘Large Hadra Collider’ CERN particle reactor in Switzerland on the 10th of September! On a personal level I find it almost impossible to get my head round the technology and terminology of the LHC. I prefer to simply think of it as a huge tunnel inside which Jeremy Clarkson & Co are forced to drive towards each other in excess of the speed of light to reappear 13.7 billion years back in time and with king sized headaches.

House prices in August fell for the eleventh month - down 0.9%, compared to 1.2% the previous month. On a year on year basis prices are down by 5.3%, the lowest level since the survey began in 2001.

The programme will reflect the times we live in – concentrating on The State of the Industry This said, I think the industry should be relieved that the current downturn in both the housing market (mentioned before in countless articles) and the economy, has not appeared to affect the traditional business of moving people in and out of the UK.
