The ARP council is made up of six council members plus the Chairman.
There are two representatives from the members offering Destination Services. There is one representative of members offering Private Acquisitions, one from a Relocation Management Company, one from "Other Disciplines" (International Schools, Removals Companies etc) and finally one from Serviced Apartments.

There is one place on the ARP council up for election. All full members have been sent noimnation forms and the candidates for the council place representing Private Acquisitions are Jonathan Haward (County Homesearch International) and Nicholas Ayre (Home Fusion).
The other space on the council is for the representative from the Specialist Providers sector, and as there was no opposing candidate, Keith Winsor of GB Liners has been duly elected to the council. A full bio for Keith will be available when the election has taken place.
Prior to establishing The County Homesearch Company in 1988, I enjoyed an exciting career in estate agency where service wasn’t something we were trained to pay lip service to, but something we actively delivered.
That was until in common with a very large number of UK estate agents in the mid-late 1980s, a decision was made to “sell out”, in our case, to an insurance company but in the case of other firms, banks or building societies. (The company I was with sold out to General Accident and it was less than motivating to have “sold” boards up outside houses with “Sold by General Accident”)
