Summer for the ARP means preparing for the annual conference, taking place on the 30th September and 1st October at St Hugh's College Oxford. We have lined up a terrific programme with some excellent sessions and speakers.

The past two years have seen some of the toughest market conditions for members in a decade. Volumes have dropped, overheads have increased and corporate fees have gone down sharply. So how are people surviving? There is a great deal of ingenuity amongst our members and we have brought that talent together for the conference, the 2010 theme for which is:
"Clarity in Uncertainty – Making Sense of a Rapidly Changing Environment"
We hope you’ll be there to share your concerns, innovations, creativity or just a glass of wine or two.
We welcomed Christina Dunning to the ARP council in July, as she steps in to take the place of Judith Waterhouse, who has served for the past six years. Judith has been a very valued council member, and we thank her for her great contribution.
We are running a number of events over the coming months and details have been sent by post to members along with booking forms.
We have two Legal Seminars, Training on Expense Management, our National Relocation Conference and of course, The Christmas Lunch, taking place in the spectacular setting of the The Roof Gardens, 99 Kensington High Street.
There is a further "free to attend" webinar for members on the 21st of September. This seminar is entitled “The Corporate Perspective” and our speaker is Elaine Crowe, Relocation Manager for the Rank Group and Chair of the Relocation Users Group. Elaine has over twenty years experience moving her workforce, structuring relocation policies and managing her vendor network. If you want to know what the current trends are within the corporate world, then you should attend this webinar.
Details and booking forms for all of our events can be found under the "Events" tab.
We look forward to seeing you in Oxford at the conference.
