The Silent Killer
You may be aware that some months ago, one of our industry members, Assunta Mondello was killed, together with her husband and children, in an accident in their home in France as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning. At the same time or not very long after, an article appeared in the Press drawing attention to this ‘silent killer.’
I’ve been at a loss to know how to be enthused about the news lately. Amanda Bartlett, Bristol based and founder of AB Relocate inherited not just the ‘AB’ initials (good for Yellow Pages) but also the reconnaissance gene from her father (a spitfire ace) that trained her in the understanding of frequent overseas postings. Later embassy stints in North America and Turkey and helping staff when PA to managing directors of Revlon (Paris) and McDermott (Dubai) completed her grounding in moving people and homes.
